We just moved here and I recently visited Gardner Village. It was very charming, the stores had really unique items. I LOVE the Sassy Babies store & Anastasias attic & the fudge from the candy store.
Can't wait to go back!
Pros: unique stores
Cons: closed on sunday
Great food; bad smell Reviewed by dontcindyme on

I went for an early dinner on April 3rd, 2009. There was a horrible smell of backed up sewage. I hadn't been there in about a year, but seem to remember it smelling that way then, also.
I stayed anyway, and finally got used to the smell, until it disappeared (as I'm sure it finally does for the wait staff). The food was very good. I got an April special for $10. I got 2 Fried Green tomatoes (excellent) and Chicken Fried Steak with vegetables and mashed potatoes. All components were very good, including the hot bread. The dessert, however, was not very good. It was Carrot Cake. Just didn't taste good and was ice cold from the the fridge. All was included for $10 so can't complain too much.....except for the bathroom smell....
Pros: Great atmosphere; cool setting, good food
Cons: The smell of backed up sewage

I was asked to take some family photos here a few days ago, and this was my first time coming to Gardner Village. It is the cutest place I have ever seen. It has the cutest old homes turned into vintage shops. The best part that I seen while there was their huge Water-Wheel.. it is so beautiful and awesome.
I would strongly suggest coming for a visit, you surely won't regret it. I'm planning on visiting again and again.
